Mapping Your Route to Service Orientation
Fact Sheet
Determining the right strategy for moving forward with Oracle E-Business Suite, and Oracle's Peoplesoft Enterprise, JD Edwards EnterpriseOne and Siebel CRM.
To stay competitive in today’s business environment, organizations must increase their technological agility and decrease operational costs. Capgemini believes that the solution lies in Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
We work with clients to develop a comprehensive application architecture or route map to service orientation, and the governance structures and measurement tools necessary to evaluate progress.
Deciphering the IT landscape can be confusing and time consuming. Capgemini and Oracle have created the CxO Fusion Experience to help existing Oracle users discover the benefits of SOA. Thanks to our RAIN program, you can explore and experience the possibilities.
Oracle Fusion
In response to a growing movement towards service orientation, Oracle has developed next generation Oracle Fusion Applications using SOA as the basic design principle. These new applications combine the best aspects of each of Oracle’s recently acquired software producers, including PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Siebel. Oracle Fusion also allows third-party developers to tailor the applications to your industry.
Oracle Fusion Applications use Oracle Fusion Middleware, a new technology base founded on Open Standards such as Java and Business Process Execution Language.
Applications Unlimited
With its Applications Unlimited program, Oracle will continue to develop upgrades for existing PeopleSoft, JD Edwards and Siebel software packages using new Fusion technology.
By switching to Oracle Fusion now, however, your business will be taking an important step towards becoming a Service-Oriented Enterprise.
