Our Code of Ethics

You are in: Who We Are

Capgemini is committed to ethical conduct and to the principles embedded in our seven values. We have decided to publicize our longstanding commitment more broadly by supporting the UN Global Compact initiative and the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. As part of this support, we have published the code of ethics that guides all of our business practices:

  1. We respect human rights in all dealings with Capgemini stakeholders, including team members, clients, suppliers, shareholders and local communities.
  2. We recognize that local customs, traditions and practices may differ and as a global organization, we respect local laws and customs while supporting international laws and regulations—in particular, we support International Labor Organization core conventions on labor standards.
  3. We refuse the use of forced labor.
  4. We refuse the use of child labor and ensure that our processes reflect this.
  5. We refuse unlawful discrimination of any kind, and we promote diversity.
  6. We develop flexible working conditions to promote a healthy balance between work and personal life.
  7. We promote the training and personal development of our team members.
  8. We respect freedom of association.
  9. We respect health and safety regulations in our working environment and in dealings with stakeholders.
  10. We require our team members to maintain confidentiality with regard to all information to which they have access, in accordance with applicable laws.
